摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly sensitive electrophotographic photoreceptor having high charge retention and repeating potential stability, and to provide a charge generating material used therein. SOLUTION: The new crystal typeμ-oxo-gallium phthalocyanine dimer which shows peaks at Bragg's angles 2θ(±0.3 deg.): (1) 6.2 deg., 7.7 deg., 12.5 deg., 18.8 deg., 25.1 deg., (2) 7.0 deg., 14.2 deg., 26.3 deg. or (3) 6.2 deg., 9.4 deg., 14.8 deg., 26.3 deg. in the X-ray diffraction spectrum for Cu-Kαrays, is provided. The electrophotographic photoreceptor using the dimer is also provided.
