PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable sol-like enamel remover having a characteristic beautiful appearance. SOLUTION: This sol-like enamel remover comprising water and an organic solvent compatible with the water as dispersing mediums and a silica sol having an electrical conductivity of 0 to 560μS/cm is characterized by containing the silica containing an average particle diameter of 30 to 200 nm in an amount of 1.5 to 9 wt.% based on the total amount of the enamel remover and containing the organic solvent in an amount of 55 to 93 wt.% based on the total amount of the enamel remover.
