PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath temperature detecting device which can detect the temperature of hot water in a bathtub without needing special wiring work and to provide a bath system which can control the temperature based on the actual temperature of the hot water by this. SOLUTION: In the bathtub, a temperature detecting means 33 for detecting the temperature of the hot water in the bathtub and a transponder tag 31 for electromagnetic induction communication is placed. On a remote controller 2a of a water heater 1 provided on a wall face of a bathroom, a wireless communication part 25 for communicating with the tag 31 is provided, and an electromagnetic field is generated by this wireless communication part 25 to supply electric power to the tag 31, while temperature data detected by the temperature detecting means 33 is sent from the tag 31 and received by the remote controller 2a. The received temperature data is displayed on a display part 23, while it is also sent to the water heater 1 as data for controlling temperature.
