PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epicyclic gear having a simple structure for stopping a thrust washer rotating relative to a planet carrier. SOLUTION: The epicyclic gear 5 has a planet carrier 13 where the thrust washer 54 in a ring shape is installed between a ring gear 14 and the periphery of the planet carrier 13 about their axial direction. The thrust washer 54 has three pairs of washer side pawls 54a protruding inward in such a way as pinching three columnar parts 51c formed on the planet carrier 13 about their rotating direction and washer side recesses 54b to be concave toward the periphery in such a way as to comply with the shape of the addendum in the neighbourhood of the inside surface of the thrust washer 54 of a second pinion 62. By the washer side pawls 54a the thrust washer 54 is engaged with the planet carrier 13 in such a way as to be incapable of rotating.
