PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a treatment agent and a treatment solution for cultured laver capable of exterminating disease damages of cultured laver caused by red-rot fungi, white-rot fungi, chytridium fungi, and the like, and sea weeds such as diatom, and provide a method for treating cultured laver. SOLUTION: The treatment agent for cultured laver comprises lactic acid and/or acetic acid and, as effective ingredients, at least one kind of (a) a 6-14C saturated fatty acid, its esters and its salts, (b) benzoic acid, its esters and its salts, (c) a cinnamic acid, its esters and its salts and (d) salicylic acid, its ester and its salts.
