PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass spacer which prevents a plurality of glass substrates from damaging when used with the substrates parallelly standing on ends with specific intervals. SOLUTION: The glass spacer 1, to be used at the time of parallelly standing a plurality of glass substrates 10 on ends with the specified intervals, is composed of a stopper part 3a supporting the glass substrate 10, to the one side of the stopper 3a a supporting part 3b supporting upper outside of the glass substrate 10, to the another side of the stopper 3a, a main body of the spacer 2, the lower part of which is having a bulging part 4 which is in contact with inner surface of the glass substrate 10 and outer surface of the adjacent glass substrate 10 while keeping the interval. The bulging part 4 is characterized in that it is made of an elastic material, and the surfaces of the bulging part being in contact with the glass substrates 10 are arranged with plastic resin plates.
