MOLD CLAMPING FIXING DEVICE IN TIRE VULCANIZATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold clamping fixing device in a tire vulcanization apparatus which can surely clamp a mold during vulcanization by a simple structure and can be structured compactly. SOLUTION: A fixing means 38 for clamping the mold during vulcanization is mounted on an upper part base plate 15 and prevents the opening of an upper mold during the vulcanization of a tire. The means 38 is composed so that a lock shaft 22 is engaged slidably with through holes 15a formed in the upper base plate 15, hydraulic clamp units 40 having two sets of pairs of stopper members 39 are arranged around the through holes 15a, and the upper end of the lock shaft 22 is held by the two sets of the stopper members 39. The clamp units 40 are arranged at positions opposite to each other with the through holes 15a held between them, and supply pressure oil into a hydraulic cylinder 43 by a change-over valve 42 formed in a pressure oil circuit 41 by changing over to protrude or retract the stopper members 39.
