PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furnace interior cleaning method and cleaning device for a stoker fired furnace capable of efficiently cleaning an interior of the stoker fired furnace without manual work of workers. SOLUTION: By arranging a plurality of bag bodies 9 filled with particles 11 on a fire grate 6 in a furnace width direction and moving the bag bodies 9 in a furnace length direction by a fire grate moving mechanism, residues such as noncombustibles or ash remaining on the fire grate 6 are discharged while pushing them by the bag bodies 9.
