PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that appropriate luminous intensity distribution in accordance with the arrangement of a subject is not obtained in the conventional illuminator. SOLUTION: This illuminator is equipped with light sources 1 and 4 and light shielding plates 2a to 2d shielding illuminating light emitted from the light sources. By turning the plates 2a to 2d, the luminous intensity distribution of the illuminating light is changed. And, the plates 2a to 2d are made controllable to be turned independently of each other. |
