NAVIGATION SYSTEM, DATA SERVER, ROUTE SETTING METHOD, AND INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM OF DATA SERVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system having highly improved convenience by making users able to input the destination, stopping points, and other information from the outside of a car, without forcing the users to carry out troublesome operation, when a user makes a driving plan at the outside of the car. SOLUTION: A scanner unit of a mobile terminal 10 reads a code data such as bar codes printed in a map or the like, and then sends the data to a data server 20. The data server 20 converts the code data sent from the mobile terminal 10 into position information which indicates positions in an actual coordinate system and stores in a position information storage unit. The position information is sent to a car-mounted navigation device 30 from the data server 20 if necessary. The car-mounted navigation device 30 determines a driving route of the car according to the position information, and guides the car based on the driving route.
