PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material test equipment in which operation of the test equipment body can be controlled by configuring the operational procedure of various tests in the material test equipment readily as a program for performing the test according to the test specification. SOLUTION: An operational instruction of the material test equipment is symbolized as an icon for operational logic and a variable processing function for use in the test control of the operational instruction is symbolized as an arithmetic logic. These icons are specified selectively and the operational procedure of the material test equipment is configured as a link of a plurality of icons. In particular, the icon for operational logic is set as an operational instruction of procedure consisting of an operational instruction for performing the operation while referring to parameters required for the operation, and an instruction for recording the operational results upon ending the operation.
