PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine a printer and a print medium tray such that the installation area is decreased. SOLUTION: The printer (10) comprises a housing (15) having a bottom wall (18), a front wall (12), and a cover (14) fixed to rotate between open and close positions, and a tray (13) for supporting a print medium from the underside. The tray (13) is fixed rotatably to the housing (15) such that it can move between the printer use position and the printer nonuse position. The tray (13) is located between the cover (14) and the front wall (12) at the printer nonuse position.
