<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger cleaning structure for an interior unit of a ceiling-embedded type air conditioner capable of simplifying complex work of cleaning a heat exchanger and reducing the cost of a cleaning device. SOLUTION: This interior unit of the ceiling-embedded type air conditioner is equipped with, in a casing, a centrifugal fan directly connected to a motor for rotational drive, a heat exchanger disposed around the centrifugal fan, a drain pan disposed underneath the heat exchanger, and a drain pump installed at a suitable place inside the drain pan and fitted with a suction inlet immersed in the drain sump and with a drain discharge outlet connected to a hose discharging drain to the outside. In the interior unit, a sprinkling pipe with one end plugged, with the other end equipped with a cleaning solvent inlet detachably connected to a supply hose of an outside pump that serves as a cleaning solvent supply means, and with the inbetween portion provided with many spraying holes is disposed along the whole circumference near the upper portion of the heat exchanger.</p> |
