<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser marking device having ability to print by emitting a laser beam while adjusting a focal position in accordance with the height of a workpiece W. SOLUTION: On a transporting line 1, there are arranged a laser emitting port 21 and a workpiece distance measuring means 4 at a certain interval. After a workpiece detecting signal from the measuring means 4 is inputted in a CPU 25, a control signal is transmitted from the CPU 25 to a Z-axis module 23 on the basis of a signal Sd as of the point of time in receiving the workpiece detecting signal after a lapse of delayed time. Thus, the focal position of the laser beam is made to coincide with the printing surface of the workpiece W. Then, the laser beam is emitted from a laser oscillator 22 with printing performed on the workpiece W.</p> |
