PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous coating material composition having excellent anticorrosion even though it does not contain heavy metals such as lead and hexavalent chromium. SOLUTION: The aqueous coating material composition comprises an aqueous epoxy modified alkyd resin, a blocked isocyanate, an anticorrosive pigment composed of an amorphous magnesium silicate compound having an atomic ratio of Mg to Si of 0.025-1.0, and has a ratio (OH group/NCO group) of the hydroxyl group of the aqueous epoxy modified alkyd resin to the isocyanate group of the blocked isocyanate resin of 1/0.1 to 1/2 and a pigment weight concentration (PWC) of the anticorrosive pigment of 20-80 wt.%.
