PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labeling machine which can efficiently heat a heat- sensitive label and promote the high-speed operation of a labeling machine. SOLUTION: In the labeling machine comprising a label feeding means 1 and a carrying means 3 to carry a vessel 50, and having an affixing drum 2 to affix the heat-sensitive label L to the periphery of the vessel 50, a heating device 4 comprising a heater 40 to emit the heat wave is disposed around the affixing drum 2. The heater 40 is accommodated in a case 41, and the heater 40 is advanced/retracted to/from the affixing drum 2 together with the case 41 by a slide means 42.
