PHOSPHORUS- AND SILICON-MODIFIED FLAME-RETARDANT EPOXY RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphorus- and silicon-modified epoxy resin having flame retardance obtained by improving a phosphorus-modified epoxy resin by reacting an epoxy resin with phosphorus and silicon. SOLUTION: The contents of the phosphorus and the silicon are 2.0-3.2 wt.%, and 0.5-2.2 wt.% respectively. The epoxy resin is utilized for production of an electronic circuit board.
