PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a TCNDA compound in high industrial productivity by a catalytic reaction and a thermal reaction which are different from the conventionally known photo-addition reaction of maleic anhydride with BHCA. SOLUTION: This invention is represented by the below-described reaction scheme (R<1> is a 1 to 10C alkyl; R<2> is H or a 1 to 10C alkyl). This method for producing the TCNDA compound is characterized by reacting a BHCA compound with a DMA compound in the presence of a ruthenium catalyst to produce a TNAA compound, hydrating the TNAA compound to produce the TNEAC compound, reducing the TNEAC compound to produce the TNAC compound, further hydrolyzing the TNAC compound to produce the TNTC compound, and then subjecting the TNTC compound to a dehydration ring- closing reaction. The invention relates to the TNAA compound, the TNAC compound, the TNAC compound, the TNTC compound, and the TCNDA compound (R<2> is not H). |
