PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a ceramic sintered compact by sintering a compact obtained by kneading ceramic powder and a binder and compacting the kneaded material, by which crack does not occur even when a large-sized compact is sintered. SOLUTION: In the method of producing a ceramic sintered compact, a compact obtained by kneading ceramic powder and a binder, and compacting the kneaded material is immersed into an organic solvent to reduce the content of the binder, and, after that, normal burning is performed to obtain a ceramic sintered compact. Alternatively, the compact is first calcined at a low temperature, and, after that, the binder is removed with the solvent, and, normal burning is performed, or, a compact obtained by kneading ceramic powder with plural kinds of binders, and compressing the kneaded material is immersed into an organic solvent in which at least one kind of binder is not melted, and, debindering is performed with a part of the binders left in the compact, and, after that, normal burning is performed to obtaine the ceramic sintered compact. |
