PRINTER AND PRINTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method in which a print sheet can be reused. SOLUTION: In order to reuse a print sheet, a region of a print sheet printed with information is detected and a region related to that region is specified as an erasure region. Printed information is then erased from the erasure region by printing a pattern corresponding to the erasure region with erasing ink or toner of different color from that of printing ink or toner. Subsequently, print information is printed with printing ink or toner onto the print sheet from which the information is erased.
