摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bonding treatment method for short fibers dispersed satisfactorily in a rubber component and having an excellent bonding force, and also to provide the rubber component having high strength and excellent wear-resistant effect and a belt for power transmission. SOLUTION: This V-type ribbed belt 1 has a structure constituted in such a way that a core wire 3 is buried along the longitudinal direction of the belt in a bonding rubber layer 2 and a compression rubber layer 4 provided with a plurality of ribs in the longitudinal direction of the belt and a basic cloth 5 as an expansion layer are laminated in a lower part of the bonding rubber layer 2 and in an upper part thereof, respectively. In this compression rubber layer 4, polyparaphenylenebenzobisoxazole short fibers of 1 to 40 weight parts are blended for 100 weight parts of rubber, and bonding treatment is applied to the short fibers by a treatment liquid containing nitrile rubber denatured epoxy resin and alkyl phenol-formaldehyde resin.
