PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterborne water storage tank which enhances a value added of a floating structure floating on the water surface of the sea, a lake, or the like, and ensures preferable and practical water supply source and electric power source, and to provide a water collecting apparatus. SOLUTION: There is provided a lightweight structure which is comprised of a tank body 8 and a water collecting body 10. The tank body 8 is floated on the water surface of the sea, the lake, or the like, by a frame-shaped float 1, and stores therein a predetermined amount of rainwater. The water collecting body 10 functions to collect rainwater and stores the same in the tank body 8.
