PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gel-like mist composition capable of suppressing syrenesis with time and a change in temperature and improving stability of a gel composition formed of a water-swellable clay mineral. SOLUTION: This gel-like mist composition is capable of suppressing the syrenesis with time and the change in temperature and improving the stability of the gel composition formed of the water-swellable clay mineral. In order to obtain the composition, a water-soluble polymer, especially carboxymethyl cellulose having 0.6-0.75 degree of etherification and a viscosity region of 100-1,000 Pa.s when converted into a 1 wt.% aqueous solution is added.
