PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle device of a die cast machine in which a solidified metal plug is formed at the tip of a nozzle body in a non-discharge mode, the plug is formed in an adequate size, not too thin and not too thick, the service life of a heater is prolonged, and durability is improved. SOLUTION: This nozzle device of the die cast machine has the nozzle body 20 which abuts on an inlet 7a communicated with a cavity 6 of a die 5 at the tip 20a thereof, and discharges molten metal of a required quantity, and forms a solidified metal plug on the tip side of a discharge passage for each cycle of feeding the molten metal, and comprises a first heater 30 provided on the tip side of the nozzle body 20, a second heater 31 provided therebehind, and a control means 32 to control the first heater 30 and the second heater 31 so that the temperature of a part Y with the predetermined length S=2-7 mm inward of a reference point X at which the tip of the plug is located in a non- discharge mode of the nozzle body 20 is kept at the solidification completion temperature Ta of metal and the temperature of the discharge passage of a general part of the nozzle body 20 is kept at a temperature of not lower than the solidification starting temperature Tb of the metal.
