LCD SUBSTRATE AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A substrate for a liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to make the thickness of the LCD thin and simplify the fabricating procedure thereof by employing bipolar transistors. CONSTITUTION: A substrate for a liquid crystal display device an insulating substrate, data and gate wires(32,52) formed on the insulating substrate, intersecting each other, bipolar transistors(BT), of which bases(22) are connected to the gate wires and emitters(21) are connected to the data wires, and pixel electrodes(62) connected to collectors(23) of the bipolar transistors.
