PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical measuring device capable of outputting sampling data of a normally amplified low magnification side and capable of preventing deterioration of measurement accuracy even when the level of a detection signal largely fluctuates during restoration of a high magnification side amplifier from a saturated state and the sampling data of the low magnification side becomes lower than the lower limit of an effective range. SOLUTION: By using a fact that the ratio of amplification factors between amplifiers holds even between the levels of detection signals outputted from the amplifiers, a selector 10 compares a ratio of amplification factors between a low magnification side amplifier and the high amplification side amplifier with a ratio between levels of sampling data 9a and 9b outputted from each A/D converter 8a and 8b, and when they match, it selects an amplifier having an appropriate amplification factor for measurement in response to a level of a detection signal 5 outputted from a light receiving element 4, and when they do not match with each other, it selects a presently selected amplifier.
