PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive motive power transmission mechanism applicable to the bidirectional rotation of a pulley. SOLUTION: The power transmission mechanism comprises a first rotating member 1 having first locking portions 5, 6, a second rotating member 7 having second locking portions 10, and a spring steel elastic member 11 formed in a largely openable approximate C-shape. The inner periphery face at the opening edge of the elastic member 11 is locked to the first locking portions 5, 6 with its opening portion largely opened and the outer periphery face of an approximately central portion of the elastic member 11 facing the opening portion is locked to the second locking portion 10, whereby the first rotating member 1 and the second rotating member 7 are connected together via the elastic member 11.
