PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a door glass run whereby the exterior lip of the door glass run covering the external wall part of a door sash part will never impair the fine appearance resulting from turn-back, etc., when it is fitted. SOLUTION: The door glass run to make a slide contact with a door glass G and hold it is fitted in a groove formed in the door sash part 1, where a door outer panel 2 and door inner panel 3 are joined together at their upper F1 and lower peripheral edges F2 so as to form the ceiling 4 and inner walls 5 of the groove, while the external wall 6 of the groove is formed from a molding 7 whose base end 7a is fixed to the ceiling 4, and the forefront 11a of the exterior lip 11 of the door glass run 9 covering the outer surface of the molding 7 is inserted into and engaged with an engaging groove 12 provided in the molding 7.
