PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fluoroalkylamine, by which a fluoroalkyl halide is efficiently aminated to produce the fluoroalkylamine useful as an intermediate raw material for medicines or agrochemicals in a good yield. SOLUTION: This method for efficiently producing a fluoroalkylamine is characterized by efficiently aminating the fluoroalkyl halide with ammonia in the presence of an iodine compound to produce the fluoroalkylamine in a good yield in a short time.
