PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester composition having excellent transparency and slipperiness, scarcely having roughness caused by coarse particles, and capable of shortening a time of heat treatment required for reducing oligomers contained therein, and to provide a film or a sheet made of the same. SOLUTION: This polyester composition contains aluminum borate particles in an amount of 0.01-10 wt.%, wherein the particles have an average particle diameter of 0.2 4μm and an area ratio of the cross section to the circumscribed circle of >=50%. The film or the sheet is made of the composition.
