ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner which is adaptable to a low temperature fixing system while maintaining cleaning property, excellent in offset resistance character and does not soil a fixing device and an image. SOLUTION: A toner composition containing a toner binder consisting of a denatured polyester resin reactive with active hydrogen is dissolved or dispersed in an organic solvent to form a dissolved material or a dispersed material. The dissolved material or the dispersed material is reacted with a cross linking agent and/or a stretching agent in an aqueous solvent containing the resin fine particles, a solvent is removed from an obtained dispersed liquid and the resin fine particle stuck onto a toner surface is cleaned and removed to obtain the toner. The electrostatic charge image developing toner is characterized in that remaining ratio of the resin fine particles remaining on the toner particle surface to toner particle measured by pyrolysis gas chromatograph (mass spectrometer) is <=2.5 wt.% to the toner particle.
