OPTICAL COLLIMATOR PARTS, OPTICAL PARTS USING THE SAME AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING OPTICAL COLLIMATOR PARTS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical collimator parts having lower dependence on temperature, optical parts using the same and a method of manufacturing optical collimator parts. SOLUTION: Each of the optical collimator parts 10 has a collimator lens 11 and a temperature compensation section 12 which is laminated and integrated on the outer periphery of the collimator lens 11 consisting of a material having a coefficient of linear expansion different from that of the collimator lens 11. Multilayered film filters of dielectric substances are deposited on a lens end face 10a of the optical collimator parts 10. A lens preform is formed by growing the collimator lens 11 within a cylindrical body consisting of the material having the coefficient of linear expansion different from that of the collimator lens 11 and the lens preform is melt drawn and is cut to an arbitrary length, by which the optical collimator parts 10 are manufactured. The optical collimator parts 10 are manufactured by housing the preform of the collimator lens 11 into the cylindrical body consisting of the material having the coefficient of linear expansion different from that of the preform of the collimator lens 11, melt drawing these and cutting the same to an arbitrary length.
