PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optionally change a ratio of a steering angle of a wheel with respect to a manipulated variable of a steering operation member in a cable type steering device. SOLUTION: An arm 105 rotated by an actuator is arranged in an interior of a driven pulley casing 14 housing a driven pulley 60 joined to a steering gearbox, and inner cables 15i and 16i are wound around the driven pulley 60 via a pair of guide pulleys 109 and 111 provided on both ends of the arm 105. By rotating the arm 105 by the actuator and changing cable lengths between a cable separating point in a driving pulley and cable separating points p2 and q2 in the driven pulley 60, the driven pulley 60 can be optionally rotated superimposed on a steering operation of a driver or independent of the steering operation of the driver.
