PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber composite aerial earth-wire which has mechanical and electric characteristics maintained well by improving the corrosion resistance of an aluminum coated copper wire or a zinc plated copper wire to satisfactorily maintain mechanical and electric characteristics and can be stably used for a long time. SOLUTION: A plurality of aluminum coated copper wires 6 or zinc plated copper wires are twisted together around a loose tube type optical fiber unit 11 in which a stainless steel tube 8 containing a plurality of optical fibers 5 stored in sheaths and a jelly compound 9 packed in the space part to fill up gaps between the optical fibers is stored in an aluminum outer tube 10, thus constituting the optical fiber composite aerial earth-wire.
