摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide torque boosting method and device capable of preventing generation of an impact drop in a flying shear. SOLUTION: In a control device for the flying shear for cutting a continuously traveling material by a rotary shear in tune with the speed of the material, cutting torque insufficiency by the cutting for every rotation of the rotary shear for the material is compensated. The compensation is performed by being divided into an initial time cutting and a sequential cutting after the initial time cutting. In the initial time cutting, a torque value in the initial time cutting of the material is multiplied as a torque reference command value. In the sequential cutting, a sequential torque boost compensation value is determined, the value is added to the torque reference command value for every rotation of the shear to form a torque command value, and the torque command value is imparted to a driving control circuit of the shear to control a motor.
