<p>A media processing device including a store for holding media identifiers to be associated with or embedded in the processed media output. A new identifier is taken from the store and applied to the output on a change in the nature of processing or on a change in identifier of the media input. A media processor may include data inputs and data outputs for receiving and passing on media identifiers. In this way a chain of processing devices can be connected in cascade, with identifiers being passed down the chain.</p> |
