PURPOSE: Upper-coupling structure of a suspension for a vehicle is provided to improve the absorbing and buffing performance to vertical load and improve riding comfort and drivability by attaching a strut plate having shock-absorbing function to a body of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: Upper-coupling structure of a suspension for a vehicle comprises a piston rod(101) of a shock absorber in which the upper end portion of a coil spring(111) is secured through an upper spring pad(110) supported by a bumper rubber(112); an insulator comprised of a damper rubber attached to a mounting plate(106) coupled to a vehicle body(103) to the upper part of the piston; and a bearing(150) fitted into the outer peripheral surface of the piston rod, to absorb the turning moment(M,M') produced in case of bump, rebound, and steering of the vehicle, to the lower part of the insulator. One end of the mounting plate is fixed to the vehicle body through a bolt(104) and the other end is fixed, with spaces, by a supplementary shock-absorbing member attached to the vehicle body to absorb and buff the external force. Accordingly, the double-fixed portions improve riding comfort and drivability.
