PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door hinge for an automobile, which is improved to enable enlargement of maximum opening of a door, and reduces costs due to the economies of mass production by increasing commonalized components adaptable to the automobiles of various types. SOLUTION: This door hinge for the automobile is constituted as follows: when the door of the automobile is opened, a movable hinge member (male 40), which is mounted on the side of the door 20, is rotated around an axis of a hinge pin 60 with respect to a fixed hinge member (female 30) which is mounted on the side of an automobile body 10; and the movable hinge member is fed in the outward direction of the automobile body 10 by a door feed mechanism 50 which functions while being interlocked with the rotation of the movable hinge member. The mechanism 50 is constituted as a unit separate from the fixed and movable hinge members.
