PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile yarn for an artificial lawn using a flat yarn having excellent processability and impact resistance, flexibility and not causing longitudinal splitting. SOLUTION: This flat yarn for the artificial lawns comprises a composition of 50-90 wt.% of a polyethylene terephthalate resin, 5-20 wt.% of a polybutylene terephthalate resin and 5-30 wt.% of a linear low-density polyethylene.
