The invention relates to a longwall face control for longwall face working, comprising a plurality of longwalls (shields 1-18) and hydraulically actuated power transmitters which represent a central longwall face control for selectively controlling one shield from the plurality of shields, and one shield control (34) each for every shield and electro-magnetically actuated hydraulic control valves (pilot valves and main valves) for the power transmitters. The control valves, including the pilot valves and main valves, are directly associated with their power transmitters, also with respect to their position, and they are hydraulically linked with them directly and without the help of tubes. Every shield control is interlinked with the valve controls (40) and the valve controls (40) are interlinked via a two-core control cable. The commands are transmitted by way of a code word for the magnets of the control valve to be actuated, said code word being serially transmitted with a control command. |
