PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave correcting clock having a reporting sound function that can receive signals even during the generation of sound without restricting the reception of standard radio waves, can reduce a consumption current, and further can extend a battery life. SOLUTION: The automatic correcting clock 1 having a reporting sound function that corrects time by receiving a standard radio wave signal including standard time information at a specific frequency comprises a memory 9 for retaining reporting sound data as digital data, an amplifier 10 for amplifying the digital reporting sound data as digital signals for outputting as a drive signal, a speaker 12 for generating sound according to reporting sound data while being driven by a drive signal by the amplifier 10 via an LPF 11, and a CPU 13 for outputting digital reporting sound data that are retained in a memory 9 by receiving a reporting sound command to the amplifier 10. |
