PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a detection range for a moisture-measuring instrument by simple constitution and work, and to allow measurement in a wide range over a wide range of samples as objects. SOLUTION: An inside electrode 14 arranged opposedly with a prescribed space with respect to an outside electrode 8 is constituted between an upper side guard electrode 13 and a lower side guard electrode 15 by attaching selectively a long inside electrode 14a or a short inside electrode 14b and an inner side guard electrode 45. The detection range in the moisture measuring instrument 1 is thereby allowed to be changed, and the objective samples of the wide range can be measured at low cost in the wide range.
