PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a velocimeter 1 having an innovative appearance by devising the structure of a velocimeter 1 of vehicular instrument disposed on a dash panel 31 and to provide the velocimeter 1 with excellent visibility by restraining reflection of incident light from the outside toward a driver. SOLUTION: A pointer 3 fixed at the tip part of a shaft 5 of a movement 4 disposed on the back face 2a side of a transparent dial 2 is rotated along the back face 2a of the dial 2. Thereby, respective display parts 21, 22 and 23 and a pointer part 3a are stereoscopically viewed as if they are floating on the dash panel 31 to realize this velocimeter 1 having the innovative appearance. A concave surface 24 is formed as a reflection restraining means on a surface 2b of the dial 2 to surely prevent the driver from being dazzled by reflection of the background in the vehicle on the dial 2 to realized the velocimeter 1 with excellent visibility.
