PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antistatic agent for an amorphous polyester resin capable of imparting stable antistatic properties without spoiling transparency of the amorphous polyester resin, and provide an amorphous polyester resin composition excellent in antistatic properties and transparency. SOLUTION: This antistatic agent for the amorphous polyester resin comprises (a) a fatty acid monoglyceride and (b) a fatty acid polyglycerol ester having 1.5-6 average degree of glycerol condensation and containing 5-50 wt.% diglycerol. This amorphous polyester resin composition comprises the antistatic agent and the amorphous resin.
