AXLE EXTENSION ADAPTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axle extension adaptor capable of facilitating attaching/ detaching operations. SOLUTION: The axle extension adaptor is provided with a pressing member 19 fixed to the upper edge part of the end of an axle member 4 so as to abut from the outside of a car body 1, and a sliding plate 20 fixed to and contacted with the inner bottom surface of an axle box 11 of a crawler frame 2 circumscribing the axle member 4. The sliding plate 20 which is to be contacted with the axle box 11 is restricted to the axle member 4 or released from the restriction and the reaction force received from the ground is transmitted to the axle member 4 by a pin 18 and the pressing member 19 by connecting/releasing an adapter body 17 capable of being inserted to the end of the axle member 4 of the car body 1 from the outside toward the center side of the car body to/from the axle member 4 by extraction/insertion of the pin 18 capable of penetrating the axle member 4 and the adapter body 17.
