PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary driving method and device for a transformer- attached portable gun that reduced the load of an operator and that enables a gun body to be rotated very easily and lightly by rotating an inner ring by a rotary driving motor relative to an outer ring of a bail support suspended on a hanging fixture. SOLUTION: In the rotary driving method of the transformer-attached portable gun, the gun body 7 is made rotatable relative to the outer ring by rotating the inner ring 5 with a rotary driving motor 9 relative to the outer ring 3 of the bail support, and also the gun body is fixed on the inner ring of the bail support; power transmitting mechanisms 8, 10 are formed between the output side of the rotary driving motor attached to the gun body and the inner face side of the outer ring, and thus the gun body is made rotatable by rotating the inner ring through the rotation of the rotary driving motor.
