METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR EXTRACTING PROPAGATION PATH OF WORM VIRUS

PURPOSE: A method and system for extracting a propagation path of a worm virus is provided to select a worm virus treatment system automatically by diagnosing and remedying virus infection in a computer infected by a worm virus and extracting a worm virus transmission path of the computer. CONSTITUTION: A virus diagnosing and treating unit(105) diagnoses and treats a virus in a client computer, receives, and stores worm transmission pattern data from a vaccine supply server. A network sensing unit(120) senses a communication port of the client computer and extracts/stores network transmission/receipt data information being transmitted to an exterior or received to an interior. A worm transmission path extracting unit(110) extracts a transmission pattern of an infect worm virus, matches extracted worm transmission pattern data with the network transmission/receipt data, and extracts a worm transmission path after a vaccine program diagnoses a virus infection of the client computer. A worm transmission path output unit(125) prepares and outputs a list with respect to the extracted worm transmission path.
