PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine management unit and a game machine information management system capable of simplifying structure and reducing a cost by managing a controller function for controlling information about a game machine by means of a superior information management apparatus allowing omission of a great number of controllers installed in every game machine and every island. SOLUTION: This game machine management unit is arranged adjacently to each of multiple game machines arranged in a game parlor for allowing receipt of a money value medium and lending of a game medium. The game machine management unit is connected so that game management information such as money value receiving information, game medium lending information, and game medium putout information upon playing usage of the game machine by a player can be transmitted to a plurality of superior management means via a communication network.
