PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a runner for a curtain rail, capable of reducing a folding margin of a curtain regardless of the size of a curtain rail. SOLUTION: This runner 3 for a curtain rail is formed of a body 4 inserted to freely run inward from the side end in the longitudinal direction of the curtain rail 1, and a curtain hanger 5 suspended from the lower part 6 of the body projected from a curtain rail groove 2. The lower part 6 is provided with a wing 7 projected in the longitudinal direction, the tip of which is bent upward along the front and rear surfaces of the curtain rail. The lateral width of the runner 3 is set smaller than the longitudinal width of the curtain rail groove 2.
