PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a mail post having excellent design property and flashing, and capable of preventing rainwater from entering the post body, and dispensing with caulking to simplify construction. SOLUTION: A flashing plate 3 mounted on the upper side of a drop opening 2 side of the mail post coves a rotating shaft 5 of a flap 4, and an upper edge 7 of an opening part of a front member is formed to cover the flashing plate 3. The front member 6 is provided with the upper edge 7 of the opening part of the front member 6, which is bent toward the inner lower side to cover the flashing plate 3 mounted on the mail post body 1. The front member 6 is formed to be substantially rounded from the upper edge 7 of the opening part toward the lower edge 8 of the opening part. The front member 6 is provided with a drain hole 10 bored on the lower side of the lower end of the flap 4 of the front member 6.
